The error you’re getting is: Can’t open the serial(COM) port.

      Possible solutions:

      1. Make sure Samsung Kies is closed (disabled). Also, another reason for this error is you don’t have Samsung USB Drivers installed.

      2. There is a high probability that your device will not boot successfully just after flashing. If this is the case wait till Odin says PASS and then (close Odin and) shut down your Galaxy Ace (press Power button for a long time or remove battery). Now, Go to Recovery Mode (Press Home + Power buttons) and then select Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache option and then reboot your device.

      3. It sometimes happens that an update with Odin fails, why?
Odin shows here a failed problem with the COM port.
This Com port is a virtual port that when you plug in the USB cable it is automatically found.
When can sort this problem when it happens?
Firstly go to Windows Task Manager and close all Samsung Kiss programmes that may be open.
Then remove all USB devices from your PC apart from mouse, keyboard, and the USB cable to your phone. If you have a USB hub then remove that too.
Now plug the USB that’s attached to your phone into a different USB port.
That should have sorted the problem and the flash then works.

Hello again, I noticed that odin failed because of other external usb’s. So I removed them and perform the steps again this time It went smoothly.

BUT.. When the phone rebooted I tried to go to the recovery by using your steps, I couldn’t. I stays blinking on black screen nothing happened.

The phone works normally but as I mention earlier there is a yellow Exclamation Icon when the phone starts booting.

Nothing’s wrong, happens on all latest Samsung phones after rooting, there is a tutorial on how to remove it in some forums, you can try that tutorial if it’s annoying. Refer XDA-Forum.

          This may help:

Sorry Mujhahid, I tried everything but not getting the solution to your problem. In a website I saw something like this, hope it can help you.

“Once the device is updated, the device would restart into normal mode or will land back to recovery mode. If it lands back to recovery mode, select ‘go back’ and next ‘reboot system now’.”
