Samsung Focus 2 AT&T will be released on May 20 (Price $49.99)

Samsung Focus 2 will be the new Windows Phone from Samsung with price of $49.99 (AT&T). The release date for the Samsung Focus 2 is expected to be 20th May. This is going to be the second phone in Samsung Focus series and third in number of smartphones that run Windows Phone on AT&T’s lineup. It has good design and will be available in light shades but will have fewer specs than other Samsung phones. The glossy light appearance suits to the rounded edges of the phone. Samsung Focus 2 is also known as Samsung I667 and also by Samsung Mandel.

Mobile with operating system of Microsoft’s Windows doesn’t require high specs. Samsung Focus 2 have single core Qualcomm processor with 1.4GHz clock frequency and GPU is attached t it. It will have 512MB of RAM. Although manufacturers of Korea focus on Android with a strong competitor like Apple but they want to try their hand in the WP market also so they are making devices like Samsung Focus 2 in the Samsung Focus series.

If we talk about the display features of Samsung Focus 2 then it has super AMOLED display on 4 inch screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It has two cameras, one with 5MP and the other is front face camera with 0.3MP VGA resolution; it can record videos of 1280x720p. Samsung Focus 2 has internal memory of 8GB and also support microSD card.

Samsung Focus 2 is operated on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango other than the Samsung phones which has 800MHz CPUs and RAM of 256MB. It is expected that this Samsung Focus 2 will be a great hit in the WP market that will make Samsung to new height of popularity and profits. The phone will be released in a short time by AT&T.
