LG Optimus Zip is the latest android smartphone added to the portfolio of TracFone, the prepaid US carrier. It is an updated version of LG Enlighten side slider still high for grabs in the US through Verizon Wireless. slider with QWERTY keypad.  the device features a full sliding QWERTY keypad. It has Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system, a very powerful 800 MHz  processor, HVGA 3.2” display touchscreen and many such exiting features.

The capacitive touch provides Multi-touch method for input. It also in cooperates  Accelerometer sensor which provides UI auto-rotate, Digital compass and Auto turn-off proximity sensors. The 3.2 Mega pixels camera offers camcorder mode along with auto focus settings, night mode,ISO settings, scene mode, macro mode, Geo tagging, white balance settings, 3x zoom facility and image editor. The camera can also be used to record VGA videos(640X480 pixels) .The camera of LG Optimus ZIP also allows video formats like MP4, WMV, 3G2, DivX,3GP etc.

Additionally the device is featured with Social Networking Services, Instant Messaging, audio  jack with a diameter of 3.5mm. The other features include Document Viewer which is accessible with FOTA Capability, Android Market, etc. what the device lacks in is high-end feature in its home screen.
