Heat: HP Elitebook Folio 9470M ultrabook will maintain its temperature throughout your work. It will grow up to 85 degree temperature which is below the 95 degree mark.
Audio: The audio quality of the ultrabook is normal. You can’t compare it with stereo but it is good well. As already mentioned, the ultrabook is mainly for business and not for entertainment.
Webcam: As it has low display, the webcam quality is also low. Your image will be noisy in dark while it is not so good in low or normal light.

The combination of Intel core i-5 3427U processor clocked at 1.8 GHz frequency, 4 GB RAM and 180 GB SSD gives a solid performance. But the performance is lower than the other competitors that score high in PCMark 7 test.
The booting time of the ultrabook is 21 seconds which is quite fast but lower than Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch that boots only in 16 seconds. Both are powered by Windows 8.
The file transfer rate of the ultrabook is 118.4 MBps. To transcode a 5 minute HD video, the device takes only 20 seconds which is very fast in comparison to its competitors.
