The Google’s device Nexus 7 supports fantastically quad-core along with that it has Tegra 3 processor which gives you high-speed performance and has a beautiful and receptive screen. The device runs on Android 4.1 which makes it comprise of many other additional features as compare to other devices. The tablet is built about 7 inches with very comfort table design and with all these features, till now among all the tablets launched in the market the Nexus 7 is considered to be one of the best 7- inch tablet.

The design of the Nexus 7 is very comfortable and flexible. It comes in striking black color along with the leathery, rubbery, grippy back texture along with “Nexus” and “Asus” imprinted on it. It is considered lightest and thinnest among the other tabs like Kindle fire, Samsung galaxy etc. The weight of the Nexus is just about 0.74 pounds and it measures 7.8-inch in width, 7.7- inch in height and is about 0.4-inch deep.

Now while talking about its design, when it is hold in portrait mode and seen from the front it has 1.2-megapixel camera and it is the only camera in the tab that is it lacks the back camera. On the right side toward top it has a power/lock button followed by volume controller. On the same side toward down it has headphone jack along with the Micro-USB port in the middle of the bottom edge. The device does not include the memory expansion feature and HDMI out port but their exclusion from the device is considered to be the cost saving measure by Google.

The Nexus 7 is the first device that will run on new version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  The tab works in two different modes the landscape and the portrait mode. The screen rotates in the portrait mode but as you switch to the landscape mode it stops rotating but it rotates fine in apps. The Home button allows the user to switch between the two modes. So it as simple as that when you get confused with the working of the tab just press the home button and you will be return to the friendly portrait mode.

The port at the bottom of the home screen is packed with the Google services apps like Google Play, Books, Magazines and Music along with the chrome as default browser as well as Google Maps, Gmail, Google Plus and other services together folder in it. It also has app button in the middle of tab. The Google in its tab has comprised in that each and every app of Google browser like you can watch HD videos, Google’s personalize helper helps you to find all required info of each and everything like info about different restaurants, bus and train facilities etc. So basically is much more improvised tab among all other Android tab.

The tab also comprised of the fantastic app of voice recognition that allows you to search the Web with your voice. Along with all those apps it also has striking hardware features like it has chipset of 1.3MHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor along with the 12-core CPU. It also has 1GB of DDR2 RAM and also it is embedded with features like 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support, a gyroscope, Bluetooth, an accelerometer and GPS. Additionally to all the features it supports NFC-based technology and Android Beam. And with the help of Android beam you can send maps, Web pages, files, etc. but not the apps. To perform the task you need to touch the device’s upper right corner.

The Nexus 7 is built with the 7-inch IPS screen with the wider view. It has 1280 x 800 pixel screen resolution and it is also sensitive to touch and swipe and while talking about its video playing capability it can run 1080p movie and it looks great with screen’s high pixel density. Now talking about its battery life is expected to have 9 hours while playing HD video and without any video playing it has expected to have a whole day battery life. But yet its testing for CNET lab is left for the actual figures of battery life.

The Nexus 7 tab has damn good speeds for Web search. It can download 218MB in 122 seconds. The speakers of the tab are located on the bottom back of tablet. But it is advisable while using speakers, put down the tablet on its back in this position the speakers gives you great sound with the echo through whatever surface it’s on.

The Nexus 7 tablet is just available with price money of $200 to $250 in the market. And with this price money, buyers does not need to compromise with the performance at all.
