Requirements

Ensure the following requirements: -

A PC based on Windows is required.
USB drivers must be installed on PC or may be downloaded.

After ensuring above requirements, just follow the simple steps given below for easy installation of Galaxy Mini with CM10.1 touchwiz 5.0 Custom ROM: -

Take a Nandroid back up of the CWM or TWRP recovery for restoration post installation.
Connect your device to PC.
Copy and paste touchwiz 5.0 Jellybean from PC to internal SD card of your device.
Turn off the phone and disconnect from PC.
Hold Power, Volume Up and Home buttons together to restart the phone so that it enters CWM or TWRP recovery mode.
Perform Wipe Data, Wipe Cache Partition and Wipe Dalvik Cache operations by choosing from the recovery menu one after the other and confirming the processes when asked for.
From main recovery menu, select the zip files on the SD card and install them.
After installation, go to main menu and reboot the phone. Rebooting may take some time but after it does so, your phone is updated.

In case you are installing from the stock ROM, follow these steps: -

Root the device first.
Install CWM or TWRP recovery on your device.
Hold Power, Volume Up and Home buttons to restart the phone as it enters CWM or TWRP recovery mode.

Turn off the phone and disconnect from PC.

Problem while Rebooting? Try this…

If the phone does not reboot after the usual time, press Power button for 10 seconds to try rebooting. If it doesn’t work yet, go to recovery and perform Wipe Cache once more to follow the rebooting process.
